How to get to the West London studios

The London Sketch Club in Chelsea

The Royal Drawing School runs courses at The London Sketch Club, a beautiful Victorian artists’ studios, throughout the week. This historic life room has accommodated artists for over 100 years and comprises a large and characterful studio with high ceilings and large north-facing windows providing natural light to work from. Not far from some of London’s most well-known galleries including the Saatchi Gallery, Tate Britain and the V&A, the studios are a 12 minute walk from Sloane Square Tube station.

The studios are located on the 1st floor, up one flight of stairs, there is no lift in the building so this venue is not suitable for wheelchair users. Please contact the office directly before booking if you would like to discuss mobility access.

Out of House courses take place in galleries, museums, cultural centres across London including the V&A, the British Museum, Kew Gardens and The National Gallery. These courses also take students out and about in the city; to the streets and green spaces of London.

Students will receive a fact sheet detailing locations for their course after booking and before the course begins.

Various venues

Online courses seek to replicate the format and tuition provided in our physical studios as much as is possible. They use such platforms such as Zoom and Padlet to deliver the course. Information sheets for each courses will be sent to students prior to the course beginning.
