Print Studio Manager
Salary: £11,760 per annum working 4 days a week over 30 weeks, 7-hour day (£14 per hour)
Contract: 1-year fixed term, part-time 120 days a year (start date dependant on candidate)
Location: Royal Drawing School Print Studio, Dumfries House, Ayrshire, and other locations as required
The Royal Drawing School, an independent, not-for-profit charity aims to raise the standard and profile of drawing through teaching and practice. The Royal Drawing School is launching a new printmaking residency at Dumfries House, Ayrshire - offering artists in residence the opportunity to print during their residency The School is looking to appoint a part-time Print Studio Manager (1-year Fixed term) to establish and oversee the newly opened Print Studio facility.
In this role you will be responsible for establishing the new print studio facility and working alongside the Artist Residency Manager, manage the Print Room Studio timetable and induct new residents to the Print Room Studio. You may also be required to lead small workshops or groups and will work closely with the Print Studio Team at the Royal Drawing School campus at Charlotte Road, London.
To apply for this role you will need to be passionate about printmaking and have at least 3 years’ experience of etching and stone lithography and have overseen and managed a print studio space. As the studio is based a in a rural location you must have access to a car.
