Young Artists Programme Coordinator

Reports to: Young Artists Programme Manager

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Full Time, Monday -  Friday (with alternate Saturdays during term time)

The School is looking to appoint a full-time Young Artist Programme Coordinator to assist and support the Young Artist Programme Manager in the running and delivery of the Young Artist Programme - a highly popular programme of observational drawing classes for children and young people aged 10 to 18.

In this role you will administer the day-to-day running of the Young Artists programme, including communication with Young Artists, parents and carers, liaising with technicians, providing tutor and model support and monitoring of young students across venues and online to ensure classes are run safely and efficiently. This will also include sales and course registration queries, studio and office management support and the use of various IT systems such as Outlook, Booking Live, Padlet and Zoom.  This is a public facing role so an informative, unflappable, helpful and friendly persona is a must.

This role will involve supporting and safeguarding a wide range of young people so experience working in a formal or nonformal learning environment is desired. Appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Please note: Regular weekend work on Saturdays will be required during term time (shared with the Young Artist Programme Manager), plus occasional evening work for which time off in lieu will be given.

The Young Artist Team also runs intensive holiday courses during the Easter and August school holidays.

The Royal Drawing School is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and we welcome and encourage applications from everyone.
