Biography

Augusta Ogilvy's artwork encompasses performance, sound, music, sculpture and installation as well as an ongoing drawing practice that is often preliminary work for larger sculpture work. Prior to The Drawing Year she completed her fine arts degree at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and finalising at Dartington College of Arts. She has exhibited in the UK and abroad at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Harvard Art Gallery, Dartington College of Arts, Artwars project space, Kaleid Editions, Assab One Milan and at the Historical Archives museum in Hydra, Greece. Having taken time off to have children, she is currently working on a large scale sound and installation project using recordings of her children's voices to explore linguistics and consciousness, alongside drawing their portraits. She takes commissions for drawn portraits.
