Biography

Elspeth is from London and gained an MA in Medieval History before completing a post graduate diploma at The Royal Drawing School. Drawn to natural landscapes and plants she makes observational drawings in pencil and chalk of her surroundings, and also her young daughter. She uses these images, along with her memory, to create larger oil paintings or chalk drawings recalling specific instances.
