Biography

Luca Guarino graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2020 with a First-Class Honours in painting and printmaking. He works across drawing, collage, video and painting, to create bleak unrealities that are uncanny and alluring. 

He undertook The Drawing Year to better integrate imagination and observation into his practice, which previously relied more on found imagery. His recent work is a series of quiet images that teeter between the anxious and serene.
