Biography

William Wyld (b. 1984) is a scenic carpenter, painter and writer from South London. He studied painting at the City and Guilds of London art school between 2004-9 and creative writing at Goldsmiths in 2014. He works mainly in the landscape, making small scale oil paintings, preoccupied with the particular nature of sunlight. He also makes large scale drawings from specimens at museums, as well as portraits, still lives and etchings at his workshop in Woolwich. His poetry has been published in the Lighthouse literary Journal and in the Live Cannon 154 Sonnet anthology.
