Catherine Lampert

Catherine Lampert is a free-lance art historian and curator. She was Senior Curator at the Hayward Gallery and then Director of the Whitechapel Gallery (1988-2001). She is Visiting Professor, University of the Arts, and a model for Frank Auerbach. Author of books on Auerbach, Freud, Euan Uglow, Alÿs and Rodin, at present she is engaged with texts on Peter Doig and a Daumier exhibition set for 2013 at the RA.
