Friday Evening Life Drawing
A Friday evening life drawing course working with two different artists, each with their own approach to the life room. Drawing from life is a way of understanding the world; drawing from the figure helps us to make sense of the human form and can be a way of seeing things anew. The eye grows lazy, so we aim to sharpen it again. Working from the life model can help build our visual dictionary which we can draw upon at any time to make the images and pictures that we always intended to, whether from life or our imagined worlds. There will be a mixture of long and short poses. All levels welcome.
Free charcoal, newsprint and masking tape are provided in the Studios. There is an added paper fee for the use of cartridge and watercolour paper throughout the course.
