Fees & Scholarships

Fees

From Autumn Term 2022 the course fee will be £3800.

To secure your place on the course, a deposit of £500 should be paid in full within 10 days of an offer, this includes a non-refundable administration fee of £250. The remaining balance of the fees is due by the 1st September 2022.  Refunds are not given once the course has started unless in approved extenuating circumstances (see Extenuating Circumstances Policy).

Scholarships and Bursaries

The Royal Drawing School is committed to making all courses affordable and available to the widest range of students regardless of background or circumstance. There are currently a small number of full scholarships and bursaries available on the programme. We are working to increase the number on offer. If you are offered a place on the programme, you will be given the option of applying for a scholarship or bursary. We will send you a separate application form at this stage.

You will be eligible for a scholarship or bursary if you are domiciled in the UK, are 18 or over on the day the course starts and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Live in a household which is in receipt of income assessed benefits.
  • Be in care or a recent care leaver. (this means someone who has been in local authority care for at least 13 weeks in the last 5 year).

Every applicant will have to provide evidence which demonstrates their eligibility, and evidence of their household income. The School will consider all applications and award scholarships and bursaries based on greatest need. If you would like us to consider extenuating circumstances that fall outside these criteria, or have any further questions, please email school.leavers@royaldrawingschool.org directly.
