Young Artists Online

As we continue to fight Coronavirus together by observing social distancing, we are all looking for ways to be creative, have fun, learn and express ourselves. If you are unable to join us on our studio-based courses we are pleased to continue to offer Young Artists Online for the Spring Term.

Live courses
This term Drawing Clubs (10-14) and Young Associates (15-18) are available online offering a creative and safe online environment.  Courses will be delivered by our alumni tutors, live and interactive via Zoom. Tutors will engage with some of the most impressive online collections to deliver outstanding online teaching. Once connected you will be able to interact with other young artists as well as receive individual feedback and support from our tutors, all of whom are practicing artists.  The fee for this programme is £225  per term.

Materials
Young artists will receive a Materials Pack in advance of any live online course by post. This Pack will provide all the artistic materials they will need to complete all the activities on their course. Packs will be addressed to parents/guardians who book to ensure materials are not to be used unsupervised in advance of the course. Unfortunately, we are unable to post the Materials Pack outside the UK, however for our international young artists we will provide a list of materials required in advance.

Students may also be asked to gather household objects to draw from as instructed by their tutor.

Safety
Safety of young artists is always our number one priority. Moving our provision online requires every parent/guardian to consent to our teaching in your home. Adults are welcome to supervise activities, although they can take a breather if they wish. Each young artist booked onto our course will receive a student handbook, which will detail how to be safe when learning from home online. For more information please refer to our Digital Teaching and Learning Code of Conduct for Students.

These courses will be taking place online using Zoom and Padlet.
