All Points East In The NBHD: Family Workshops
We are delighted to be joining All Points East Festival as part of their In The NBHD community celebration, in collaboration with Tower Hamlets Council.
On Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th August, we will be running family drawing workshops for parents/guardians and children (age 10+) to take part in together.
Draw a Larger-than-Life Festival Character
In this one hour
workshop, both parent/carer and child (age 10+) will get a taste of figure
drawing. Participants will be drawing from a costumed model,
with theatrical poses inspired by the festival site. Young
artists will require lots of collective energy, as they perform quick drawing
exercises and ask the life model to respond to their directions through poses
and movement. The group will have the
opportunity to work on drawings that examine the figure in motion, translating
movement into vibrant marks on the page.
- Tuesday 23rd August, 1-2pm and 2.30-3.30pm
- Wednesday 24th August, 1-2pm and 2.30-3.30pm
