The Royal Drawing School is working in partnership with ‘A’ Team Arts, Tower Hamlets Youth Arts Service, and the Insights Team at Central Saint Martin’s UAL on this year’s Summer Art and Design Academy.

Urban Habitats - the Dream Garden programme

It is an intensive four-week full time programme targeted at young people aged 14 -19 that live, study or work in Tower Hamlets. This is a free course run by ‘A’ Team Arts, Tower Hamlets Youth Arts Service.

The Summer Art and Design Academy is aimed at students who are thinking about studying Visual Arts and Design at GCSE, A Level, FE and HE. On the course students will work with tutors and student ambassadors from the Royal Drawing School and Central Saint Martins (CSM) to gain information on courses and career pathways and help create a portfolio of work to support their educational journey. Working to brief, students will be taken through design processes, go on research trips, take part in fun and rewarding activities, make new friends and create interesting work.
