Biography

Jasmine Pajdak is a London based artist. Her practice resides at the intersection between new material research, performative intervention and sculpture. Though drawing, print and casting processes she mines and constructs narratives out of debris. She is interested in how the juxtaposition of material bodies can elicit new narrative patternsĀ and act as a conduit to explore the inherent fragility and strength of different bodies.

After taking part in the Drawing year in 2014 Jasmine went on to study print at the Royal college of Art (2019). Since graduating she has had both solo and group exhibitions in the UK and abroad.

On drawing

Drawing from observation is a transformative experience, it is a process of becoming both seer and seen, tactile and touched, within and without. It makes us aware of the space we share with others, the traces we leave and how our boundaries are porous.
