Biography
Rydal won the Herts. University Award in 1999 and 2004. In 2008 she won first prize in 'Hung, Drawn and Quartered', seeing her drawing converted into a 75ft hoarding covering for the Tower of London, during its Olympic restoration. She was commissioned in 2010, to create a drawing of Charles de Beistegui's Venetian Masked Ball for RDS 10th Anniversary. In 2018 she completed Heatherleys Portrait Diploma, winning The Heatherleys Composition and The Portrait Prize 2017 and The Drawing Prize 2018. She was a shortlisted contestant on Landscape Artist of The Year 2024.
