The Drawing Year: Application Support Webinar
Application Support Webinars are designed to offer an in-depth review of the Drawing Year application process, for those who are interested in applying to study on the course.
We recognise that applications can be daunting; often feeling overwhelming and intimidating due to navigating the forms required, presenting your work, and the potential for rejection.
These webinars are designed to help students prepare for the application process and are delivered by staff, faculty, and alumni.
Our aim is to offer increased clarity around the steps involved in the application process, providing detailed descriptions of the experience, and answering any questions arising.
The webinar will cover:
- Welcome and brief course Overview
- Full admissions overview – reviewing each page of the application form with explanations.
- Review of the application timeline and communications
- Why we ask for a personal statement and what to include.
- Further explanation of the process of uploading your work
- Guidance on the sketchbook element of the application
- General advice on presenting work in a digital application
- Q&A
Webinars are delivered over Zoom and will last approx. 45 minutes
- Tuesday 18th March | 18:00 | Sign up here
The webinar is focussed specifically on the application process and is not an in-depth overview of the Drawing Year course itself. If you would like to know more about the course, please visit this page
