First Thursdays at the Royal Drawing School
Every first Thursday of the month, in collaboration with Time Out and the Whitechapel Gallery's First Thursdays, we run our own events.
Please note: Bookings for First Thursdays open on the day of the event at 11 am. You can find the booking link above. Space is limited to 16 places, we advise you to book early.
Sessions may differ each month, some will be drawing sessions with a clothed or life model in our studios, others will take advantage of the vibrant London street life and take place out of house. Some First Thursdays will showcase our latest exhibition and be an opportunity to meet artists or curators.
This month's session will take place in the studios at Shoreditch with tutor David Gardner and an unclothed life model. Please, present your booking confirmation at the door.
Please arrive by 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start. Otherwise your place may be released to anyone waiting to join. As this is an out of house class the group will be moving on from the meeting point very quickly.
Basic drawing materials such as charcoal and newsprint are provided free of charge, feel free to bring along any of your own materials and paper to draw with.
