Allegra Fitzherbert

Allegra Fitzherbert graduated from the University of Oxford with a Modern Languages degree in 2014, going on to work in stage design and related fields. Her practice involves a lively dialogue between words, diary drawings and personal motifs. Recent drawings explore the tension between theatre and intimacy, often relying on models, props and costumes to create scenarios. In tandem she has worked with fabric, creating pieces inspired by banners and bedding to further explore the interplay between intimacy and exposure.
