Ellie Lonsdale

Ellie Lonsdale graduated from Falmouth University with a First Class Honours in Illustration in 2021. Her practice is led by an interest in narrative, where drawings act as windows into observed and imagined worlds. Ellie is interested in specific locations where urban and natural environments intersect; she often develops drawings on-site, aiming to capture the character of place. Her process involves continuous alternation between erasure and addition, allowing compositions to emerge as she works.
