Lucile Haefflinger studied Textile and Text at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, graduating in 2019. Lucile is mainly working from imagination, scribbling out crumbs that later take a complete shape. The time spent on The Drawing Year allowed her to develop a more observational way of drawing. The space is manipulated, figures tease and tangle with each other, acting with both cruelty and tenderness.
