Jason Goodwin

Jason Goodwin is a historian and novelist, whose first pilgrimage took him 2000 miles on foot from the Baltic coast to Istanbul. His Yashim detective series, set in 19th century Istanbul, has been translated into over 40 languages. He is the author of Lords of the Horizons: A History of the Ottoman Empire, and co-author of A Pilgrim’s Guide to Sacred London. He lives in Dorset.
