Neil Jeffries

Jeffries is greatly inspired by medieval art. He makes painted metal reliefs/sculptures. His work embraces a miscellany of seemingly incongruous subjects and concepts.  These might be shapes, stories, points of view, dreamed experience, bumps, holes, corners and edges. Fragments join together and suggest a narrative, others remain separate. Jeffries lectures part time at the Slade School of Fine Art. Exhibitions include: Flowers Central, London 2003 and Artspace, London 2008.
