Digital Streaming Studio - Evening | Introduction to Anatomy
Join us at the Royal Drawing School and learn how a line we can create endless possibilities through the act of drawing.
Experience a drawing class like no other.
In this two-hour life drawing session we will concentrate on the structure of the body with the intention of developing our understanding of how the mechanics of the human form connect and interact.
Through looking at anatomical reference drawings, tutor Marcus Cornish will demonstrate how these internal systems manifest themselves on the surface of the body, and how an understanding of anatomy can help give life to our drawings.
Materials
The session will use primarily the following materials:
- Charcoal
- Pencil
- Paper (assorted sizes)
- A Drawing Board or large book to lean on
Optional:
- Graphite Stick
- Drawing Pencils
- Coloured Pencils
- Pastels
- Ink Pens
- Conté Crayons
- Putty and Hard Erasers
- Pencil Sharpener
- Sketchbook
- Paper in various sizes – we suggest A3 – A1
Please note: The Royal Drawing School online models will not pose nude. Models in this series will be semi clothed.
