Young Artists Summer Holiday // Artists of London (15 - 18 years)

Artists of London: Walking, Drawing and Storytelling

When we walk through London, we walk in the footsteps of the artists who have been inspired by the city. Throughout the course, we will be exploring the local landscape of London, from its geography, communities, cartography, folklore and world-famous architecture.

Retracing the paths of artists past and present such as Francis Bacon, J.M.W Turner, Sonia Boyce, Paula Rego, we will investigate our own relationship with the buildings, spaces, and artworks we encounter in the city. We will be drawing from art, life and imagination in figurative and abstract ways.
